| Built in 1916, Avista Corp.'s Central Steam Plant served as the primary downtown steam heating source for over 70 years. With its hand-laid, patterned brick smokestacks, massive boilers and coal bunker, the Central Steam Plant has been imaginatively converted into 36,000 square feet of retail & commercial space. | |||||||||||||||||||||

| Great
care has been taken to maintain the ambiance of the original plant. The
Steam Plant Grill, a restaurant and pub, is situated in the south
end of the building in an original 1930's boiler set amongst extensive
catwalks. It is illuminated by the dramatic arched windows making
this unique setting an unparalled dining experience.
Other spaces on the main floor can be designed to house speciality retailing. Upper noncontiguous spaces are designed for one-of-a-kind office spaces. |
