The mammoth suspended coal-bunker frames virtually every view inside the Steam Plant. Grand plate glass windows illuminate the retail and office space throughout the Seehorn-Lang building. Vaguely resembling Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, the glass elevator adds a unique presence to the Steam Plant. Two levels have been added to the coal-bunker. Both floors house unique office space and have great views within the Steam Plant.
From the 2nd floor, the main entrance can be seen through the turn-of-the-century sign and web of steel support beams. The Coffee Boiler is a Zen-like coffee house built in a converted steam boiler. The classic entrance from Lincoln Street offers access to the upper floors of the Seehorn-Lang and the parking under the Courtyard building. The splendid glass elevator carries passengers to all levels of the Steam Plant.
